“Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.”
The Spirit is not a distant assistant; He is the Lord Himself present. Where He is, God is fully there.
In context, Paul describes a veil that falls when someone turns to Christ. Scripture opens when the heart turns to Him.
The Spirit does not produce tense religion but free children. Slavish fear does not belong in the Father's house.
The next verse says we are transformed from glory to glory as we behold the Lord. Look at Him more and at the mirror less.
Freedom in the Spirit is not life without direction; it is finally being able to love, serve, and obey unchained.
Act: before breakfast, tell God out loud one area where you feel bound and invite Him: "Spirit of the Lord, bring freedom here."
