Unless the Lord Builds

“Unless the LORD builds the house, those who build it labor in vain. Unless the LORD watches over the city, the watchman stays awake in vain.”

1.

THE UNSEEN BUILDER

Solomon, who raised the temple, knew it: every work that stands has God behind it. The truest foundation is unseen.

2.

BUSY IS NOT BUILT

You can sweat all day and still build in vain. Activity without God is motion; with God, it is construction.

3.

PRAY BEFORE THE BRICKS

Before the schedule, the consultation. Bringing your plans to God first seats the Architect at the drafting table.

4.

DAILY DEPENDENCE

This is not a ribbon-cutting prayer but a job-site partnership: every phase surrendered, every decision brought to Him.

5.

THE WATCHMAN CAN SLEEP

If the Lord keeps the city, you are allowed to rest. Anxiety works the night shift; trust sleeps in peace.

6.

HAND OVER THE BUILD

Act: before breakfast, hand God this week's biggest project in one sentence: 'Lord, You build it.'
