“But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his own possession, that you may proclaim the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light.”
'But you' — Peter writes to people who felt like outsiders. Heaven's choice names you, not the world's vote.
Priests carry God's presence to people and people's needs to God. Your kitchen, your desk, and your commute are your parish.
Holy means set apart for a purpose. You belong to another Kingdom while you serve faithfully in this one.
To God you are not one of many; you are His treasure. Belonging to Him is the safest address in the universe.

Act: before breakfast, text one person one specific good thing God has done for you. That is proclamation.
